Not long to go now until the club speech contest on 9th February - always a great evening with the opportunity for the winning speaker to hold the BISC speech contest trophy for the year and represent Birmingham in the Anglia Council speech contest.
It would be great to get as many people involved as possible. Main guidelines are:
- Speak between 5 and 8 minutes
- Speech should be in one of the following categories:
to inform
to entertain
to persuade
to inspire
a research speech
a current event speech
- You will be provided with one phrase and two words and your speech should contain one of these.
That's it - simple!
