Review of Wednesday's meeting‏ Theme : ROOM 101

Dear All

We had an interesting evening on Wednesday with several members tackling the subject of Room 101 for their speeches.

Mike Venables gave his maiden speech following his recent return to the club and kept us all gripped with his story influenced by 19th century French writer Guy de Maupassant.

I'll never dream of owning a multi-million pound necklace again! Good to see you back Mike !

Following the break, Carole led a great session on Transactional Analysis -a theory of personality and a systematic psychotherapy for personal growth and personal change which
was new to many of us. We now have far more insight into the effect out nurturing parent etc has on our every day lives. Left us with plenty of things to think about!

Our next meeting is on 24th November at the Plough and Harrow starting at 7.30pm. The theme for the evening is "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder".
